Aside from my other writing projects, I continue to provide professional, time-critical translation and proofreading services to a number of clients, especially for texts requiring an in-depth understanding of musical concepts and terminology.

For many years, I have prepared the English output for DeHaske, a Hal Leonard imprint specialising in instrumental and band music; and the Flanders Festival Ghent, a major annual international festival of classical music. Projects include recording liner notes, website texts, surveys, formal invitations, bookings, biographies and much more.

International organisations require English that is easy to read and engaging for international readers: customers whose first language isn’t necessarily English. I am used to producing clear and uncomplicated texts to tight deadlines with organised reviews, annotations and comments between team members.
