For sax players with a year’s experience, who read music, and have some experience of performing. Develop your tone, technique, reading and musicianship, playing popular styles and jazz, with some opportunity to improvise.
Explore jazz styles and repertoire, chord/scale vocabulary, jazz harmony, time feels, accompanying and improvisation. Ideal if you have established guitar technique and are new to jazz.
Ideal if you are at intermediate level, can read and improvise, and have some experience of performing. Our repertoire will be pop, jazz and World music. Technical work on the instrument will be combined with solo playing, learning tunes, improvisation and musicianship training. Live sessions online.
